The Crescent Educational Trust, a charitable Trust was constituted by 15 Founder Trustees under the Indian Trusts Act 1882, with a view to impart quality value based education to students by harmoniously blending modern concepts in education with religious and moral teachings. The Trust was established in the year 1987. The Trust started its humble beginning with the establishment of CRESCENT PUBLIC SCHOOL at Thottumughom, Aluva in the year 1988. The School has grown qualitatively and quantitatively from the initial strength of 64 students with 10 staff members to the present strength of about 1500 students with over 150 staff members. It is affiliated to CBSE with Registration No.930097 since 1995.
Crescent Public School has succeeded in providing impeccable educational service to the students of Secondary and Senior Secondary classes under the CBSE syllabus. A good number of them hail from the weaker sections of our community in terms of socio-economic aspects of the region. In appreciation of the meritorious services rendered by CRESCENT PUBLIC SCHOOL for the past 28 years of its existence, the School has bagged the prestigious affiliation of Al-Ameen Movement having a cluster of more than 350 educational institutions including professional schools spread across the country.
The Crescent Educational Trust felt the growing importance of providing pre-schooling experience to the children to unleash their latent physical and mental capabilities in the tender age itself. Thus the formation of CRESCENT PLAY SCHOOL at Thottumughom, Aluva is designed to expose the child to the best in pre-schooling experience with special emphasis on all-round personality development.
The management has demonstrated its efficiency and persistence time and again in varying economic conditions and is therefore better equipped to promote a project of this magnitude.
