ADMISSION
A child must be 3 years of age before he/she is admitted to Lower K.G. Admissions are usually made on the basis of tests and interviews. Those seeking admission will have to produce the birth certificate issued by the respective Panchayath / Municipality / Corporation. Transfer Certificate has to be produced for admission to class II onwards.

PRE-SCHOOL
Our Young Pre classroom is for ages 2+. This age group is working on developing their fine and gross motor skills, that are gaining independence, and developing their social skills through play.
Growth and development
Our academic programs are based on the developmental needs of each age level. For that reason our academic programs for 3 - 5 year old children are designed as half-day programs. We strive to provide a broad and balanced programme of activities and experiences appropriate to the age and development of all children attending Kindergarten thus enabling them to maximize their full potential. The child friendly, colorful atmosphere is indeed a palette of imagination, creativity, observation, trust, communication and above all, the feeling of being in a fairyland.
Games & Activities
Games are a central part of young children’s learning. Through games, children explore ideas, feelings and relationships. They can take risks, make mistakes and try things out without fear of failure. Games can push out the limits of what is possible and help children to be creative, flexible and imaginative. High quality activities promote confidence and well-being.
After School Care
Crescent provides exactly this – an environment where your child can be his/her own person, feels at home, is safe and secure and has enough avenues to explore. We have well trained teachers who provide a structure for your child to work in and are children with them to spur their curiosity. Your child is safe with us until you are back to collect him/her.
Emergency Contact Info
We are responsible for your child’s well being while attending school. Therefore, please be sure the school has current and accurate information: • Provide emergency numbers of parents and at least one other relative or friend whom we can call if your child becomes sick during the school day. • Inform the school nurse if your child has any allergies, chronic illness, or if he or she takes any medicine. • Complete an Emergency Form, which will be sent, home and return it to your child’s teacher.
Collection and Security
Our premises are safe and secure, both inside and out, and admittance is only permitted to persons authorized by a member of staff. At registration, parents will be asked to inform us who will be collecting their child from Kindergarten and will be provided with ID cards. If there will be a change in the authorized person(s) then please let us know in advance, as we won’t release a child to anyone without the parents’ prior consent.
ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
We have qualified and dedicated teachers, who are committed to providing educational opportunities that support the best principles of child development. Our academic programs are based on the developmental needs of each child. All lower junior level classes are taught predominantly by their teachers-in-charge and teaching assistants, within their own classrooms.

Crescent Public School and Pre-School aims at providing high quality integrated childcare, education and support for the varying needs of children, their families and the local community through a holistic approach delivered by a multi professional staff team, in an environment that is safe, stimulating and happy.
Students report to school at 8.45am and disperse at 3.30pm

The School follows the CBSE curriculum and from Class IX onwards students use the NCERT textbooks. A comprehensive pattern of formative and summative assessments is followed for evaluation. In addition to academics, life skills and values are also assessed.
Assessment
Students of Classes IX and X are evaluated on the basis of Continuous Classroom Evaluation, class tests, periodic assessments and term-end exams in a given academic year. Classes X and XII have to appear for a pre-board exam.
Co-Curricular activities
At Crescent Public School, Physical and Arts Education is given due importance and extensive training of each discipline forms an integral part of the curriculum. IFA Coaching with a state-of-the-art football ground to play 11/11 team is a unique feature of Crescent. The school has three well equipped playgrounds, facilities for indoor games with trainers for each sport.
Student Council of Crescent
The School Student Council comprises of representatives from Classes IX-XII. The Council, elected for a term of one academic year, plans, organizes and executes cultural and sports activities at the school and at inter school level. They also play a role in maintaining general discipline at the school.
SENIOR SECONDARY SCHOOL
Crescent Public School strictly follows the rules set by CBSE in scholastic activities. Special care is given to equip the youngsters of Senior Secondary School to cope with the changing surroundings and change in life. They are fostered to become better citizens and social beings.
Career Guidance and Counselling sessions are organized throughout the year for the students of the Senior Secondary School. Detailed Curriculum, identification of learning outcomes, audio-visual equipment and multimedia packages are highlights of the Senior Secondary School.
